The Stillwater Foundation was created in 2005 to provide educational opportunities for youth and adults, including the disabled and disadvantaged, to participate in quality instruction in the arts and individual athletics in a safe and positive environment. Instructors for Stillwater programs are highly-trained professionals who are, like the creators of Stillwater, intrinsically interested in providing the best possible opportunities for Durango-area youth and adults in their area of expertise. Students at Stillwater are encouraged to explore and expand their limitations both creatively and physically. Students of all ages, races and abilities are welcome.
